Every number on this page is read from the engine as the page renders: power, duration, probability. Nothing is copied by hand, so nothing can go stale.

Duel simulator

Two dragons, no account. The engine is deterministic: same seed, same fight, blow for blow, on your screen and on anyone else's. This page's address is the duel's permalink — copy it and it replays this exact fight.

Dragon A
Dragon B
Next seedSwap A and B

Both dragons share the same profile, to isolate what element and strategy actually do: strength, agility, vitality and magic all at 16, so 225 HP each. A real dragon is bent out of shape by its training — which is exactly what this sandbox strips out.

Across 200 replayed seeds

🔥 Dragon A
87 %
❄️ Dragon B
13 %

Dragon A wins 174 of 200 duels (seeds 1 to 200), median length 31 actions. Reload the page: the same seeds give the same fights.

Read this before drawing conclusions: on an agility tie, Dragon A strikes first — that is the engine's initiative rule, and it weighs a lot. In a perfect mirror at level 12 (same element, same strategy on both sides), A still wins 63.5 % of duels. Always compare a matchup both ways round.

Elemental advantages

Six elements, one closed loop. Advantage is ×1.25 on attack, disadvantage ×0.85: it matters, but it will not make up a ten-level gap.

Skills, element by element

Every dragon has four skills: the shared strike, its signature, its utility and its ultimate. The ultimate costs no momentum, but it empties the fury gauge.

“Frappe” rounds out all six kits: free, no cooldown, power × 1. It is what a dragon does when it runs out of momentum.

The nine statuses

The values below are the ones the engine applies, not ballpark figures.

StatusExact effect
🔥 BurnDamage every turn: attacker magic × 0.22, minimum 2.
☠️ PoisonSame per-turn damage as burn, but stacks up to 5 times: damage is multiplied by the stack count.
❄️ Freeze40 % chance to skip the turn, and agility × 0.7.
ShockAgility × 0.7, and momentum stops regenerating entirely: the dragon can no longer pay for its skills.
🌑 HexThe target takes × 1.2 damage.
🪨 FractureDamage reduction drops from vitality × 0.25 to vitality × 0.12.
🛡️ ShieldAbsorbs damage before HP. Only Séisme goes straight through it.
💢 RageDamage dealt is multiplied by 1.25.
💚 RegenerationRestores magic × 0.35 HP every turn.

The five stages

Evolution follows level and nothing else: no timer, no gems. The egg hatches on the first click, the rest is trained for.

The four strategies

Fights are asynchronous: you do not play the turns, you pick the doctrine and the AI applies it. Here are its actual decision rules.

⚔️ Offensive

Hits hard, unleashes the ultimate as soon as it can.

Fires the ultimate the moment fury is full, however low its health. Otherwise signature, then rage, then strike.

🛡️ Defensive

Heals and shields up when HP drops.

Below 45% HP, shields or regenerates first. Only fires the ultimate above 30% HP.

☠️ Technical

Stacks status effects and wears the opponent down.

Applies the statuses the opponent does not have yet. Only uses the ultimate once its signature has landed.

⚖️ Balanced

Adapts to the situation.

Shields below 35% HP, fires the ultimate above 25%. Signature the rest of the time.

The engine, in numbers

The remaining constants, as read from the code when this page renders.

RuleValue
Hit pointsVitality × 9 + 45 + Level × 3
Critical hit12 % → × 1.6
Damage variance× 0.88 → × 1.12
Dodge2 % per point of agility difference, capped at 30 %
Damage reductionvitality × 0.25, cut to × 0.12 under Fracture
Momentum5 max, +1 per turn
Furyultimate unlocked at 100, gauge emptied after use
Elemental advantage× 1.25 / × 0.85
Maximum length30 rounds, then the higher remaining HP percentage wins

Read enough?

The simulator above runs on the exact engine of the arena. The one thing it cannot hand you is a dragon of your own.
